Welcome to Crossroads! Attending on Sundays will hopefully inspire and encourage you, but getting involved will stir your heart and soul even more deeply! If you want to get involved at Crossroads here are some suggestions:
• First, attend on a Sunday morning for a few weeks to make sure you feel at home and can be encouraged spiritually!
• If you have children, make sure they get a chance to experience Sunday School – and if you have teens make sure they have a chance to attend the Middle School Youth Group on Wednesday evenings or the High School Youth Group on Sunday evenings! (See the page for Youth Ministry for more information.)
• To get to know other people in the church consider joining one of our Small Groups. We have all kinds of Small Groups for all kinds of people. Some are more social – so you can get to know others while involved in a fun activity. Some are topical. Some are Bible studies or prayer groups – so that you can get a deeper understanding of God’s word.
• All are invited to any of our other special interest groups like our Women’s Ministry, our Men’s Ministry and more.
• If you want to grow spiritually and are open to mentoring we have one-on-one discipleship where you would go over studies of God’s word with someone who is a little farther along in their spiritual life.
• If you want to get to know more about Jesus Christ, or what we believe as a church, or who we are as a church – or if you want to help serve in a ministry it would be wise for you to attend our Christianity 101 Class. This is an orientation class that explains what we believe and why we do what we do at Crossroads. (See the page on Crossroads Institute.)
• Once you have had a chance to be involved in some of the activities above there are all kinds of ministries you can help serve in like Hospitality, the Administrative Team, Facility and Grounds Team, Ushers and Greeters, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Small Groups Ministry and more. Just see the pages on each of these teams to see who to contact for more information.
