 Joren was born and raised in San Jose, CA. He graduated from Los Gatos High in 1982. Joren married his wife (and by far, better half), Wanda, on August 8, 1987. They have 2 daughters, Jessica (17) and Bethany (15). After spending his early adult life in restaurant work and automobile finance, Joren felt God calling him to full time Christian service and returned to finish schooling in 1998. Joren graduated with a Bachelor of Science from San Jose Christian College in June of 2000, a double major in Bible/Theology and Christian Leadership. Joren worked as Pastor of Adult Ministries at Church on the Hill in San Jose from May 2001 until December 2007. In January 2008 Joren began working as the Adult Ministries Pastor at Crossroads Community Church in Parker, Co. Joren is driven to mobilize and empower groups to do compassion ministry work on their own and believes caring for the needs of others is Christian maturity in action. |
