 Born a Colorado Native in 1982, Joshua grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from Heritage High School in 2001. From there Joshua attended Metro State College of Denver where he gained his bachelor degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. While attending school at Metro, Joshua became very involved with the Youth Ministry and clearly felt God's call to give his life to ministry. He has served as a student ministries intern at Rocky Mountain Community Church in Centennial, CO and as a High School Student Ministry Intern at Mission Hills Church in Greenwood Village, CO . Shortly after being an intern Joshua was hired on at Rocky Mountain Community Church as the Middle School Youth Director and did that while in school from 2002-2004. In 2004 Joshua became the Director of Student Ministries at Rocky Mountain Community Church, where he was in charge of both the Middle School and High School Group. He is currently in the process of finishing up his Master of Divinity with a specialization in Youth and Family Ministries at Denver Seminary. In June of 2008 Joshua got married to his amazing wife Julia, who is currently working towards her M.D. at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. Joshua loves sports, video games, hanging out with students and being active. He has a deep passion and love for reaching students. Joshua's desire is to inspire students of all backgrounds to encounter God in a deep, tangible and intimate way. Josh has been the Youth Pastor here since July 22, 2006. |
